Now imagine Yoda saying that to The Doctor, who IS that old and still looks handsome.... This is excellent artwork. It always bugged me that, for whatever reason, Yoda had hair when his species is clearly some kind of weird reptile, but...whatever. Your talent is quite evident; this is a beautiful piece.
Heh, yeah, that would be an interesting meet and greet. As for the realizm of his character.. well, that is not nearly as bad as some of the many other logic fauxpas the series is known for, but that's fantasy/sci-fi for ya, gotta take the good with the bad
I like this picture. Yoda at... 300. To nit pick and fanboy, Yoda's ears should be green inside, his blood is green. I think this is something they decided back in the 90's pre-ep1. I think they mention it in the interviews prior to the feature in the VHS release. I don't know that we should delve into Yoda's past. Like the prequels, it may take from the present what it gives to the past.
Dang... I didn't know that i got sucked into makin him youthful with the rosy-ness of the cheeks and nose and the ear thing didn't occur to me
As far as delving into Yoda's past as being a negative thing, you aren't going to get sympathy from me, i'm all for people exploring the realm of possibilities, in fact that is partly the reason i made this, i left it without any assumptions other than that yoda was in fact a youngling once(and possibly mischievous with a smirk like that xD) so that people would explore the possibilities in there own mind:]
according to legend, Yoda was trained by a Hysalrian called N'Kata Del Gormo - naturally, Lucas' general ban on going too deeply into the background of Yoda and his species means that this will likely never be confirmed as in-universe fact ^_~
Totally, and since Disney is taking over that is actually a possibility because i think George personally didn't want there to any back story on Yoda's species:/ but yeah, it would be interesting to have a novelization of his life^-^
